"Freestyle Music Awards 2008"

At the present time the 7th row is $100 and the 14th row is $35. As a former road manager for several groups and a concert promoter I want to be close and do my best to financially support your movement. My question was, other than getting a closer seat, does the $100 ticket get us any extra perks? Such as a commemorative program, a CD of the evenings performers, backstage or a
VIP room access?

Have you considered a more expensive package ($150-$550) that would include VIP access and a bag of promos and merchandise? They did this at the Hard Rock for a series of concerts and the tickets sold out overnight.

I would never ask for anything comped or free, that's not my style. One thing I despised was looking at a thin crowd and having 168 non VIPs on a guest list. So I feel your pain, brother!

One last critical question, will their be a published list of
performers and have they hired an event coordinator or a producer for
the award ceremony? I would hate for it to turn out like the last
freestyle event at the MDC auditorium. It was a fiasco that received awful reviews in South Beach Magazine. Too many stragglers backstage and hanging out in the wings during the performances and the dropping
out at the last minute of the headline performers (Expose) was a
disappointment that ruined the evening for most in the crowd. Also
don't forget to avoid at all costs those "last minute" guest
performers. They cheapen the show. also tell the Sucia guy to hang it
up with out a track!
